Outdoor Classroom
In 2007 An outdoor classroom was initiated, designed, and built. It includes seats, raised beds
and an edible garden. The outdoor classroom provides a creative and educational design exercise
as well as a space for outdoor study and science experiments. The rasied beds also supply
additional healthy food to school lunches!
The project is ongoing and will soon feature outdoor desks, a chalkboard, lighting,
and student artwork.
