| To use this instrument, mount your tuning dial, or even a simple pointer, in the center circle marked "tuner". Place the witness sample on the appropriate coil and lay your stick pad or hold your pendulum over the square coil. You take a rate by turning the tuner around the center circle while either stroking the stick pad or waiting for the pendulum to swing.. |
