The artwork I create, I consider personal to me. I'm the pain-in-the-ass kind of artist that hates to part with his artwork. But when I'm ready to part with a piece you'll find that my artwork has always sold into the private sector and into collections world wide and as far away as the UNITED KINGDOM, CHINA and JAPAN. My pallet is broad as I like to work in the abstract, I also create works in landscapes, floras and of animal nature. I feel my artwork is unique as I merge abstracts with realistic settings. I also like to create sculptures utilizing the paint itself, I do have to add newspaper to these to give the medium body but the end results are sculptures I like to call SCULPTURES IN PAINT. My favorite compositions are those that come out at you in the third dimension. Many of these involved sculpted face and/or faces merge with other items like keys, puzzle pieces, circuit boards. Whatever I feel makes my composition complete. Most of the time I like to paint on wood panels, that's just my preffered type of "canvas" (after all aren't Leonardo DiVinci's "Portrait of Ginerva de'Benci" and the "Mona Lisa" -- as well as other great artworks -- painted on wood panel). |
