The artwork I create, I consider personal to me. I'm the pain-in-the-ass kind of artist that hates to part with his artwork. But when I'm ready to part with a piece you'll find that my artwork in collections world wide and as far away as the UNITED KINGDOM, CHINA and JAPAN. My pallet is broad as I like to work in the abstract, I also create works in landscapes, floras and of animal nature. I feel my artwork is unique as I merge abstracts with realistic settings. I also like to create sculptures utilizing the paint itself, I do have to add newspaper to these to give the medium body but the end results are sculptures I like to call SCULPTURES IN PAINT. My favorite compositions are those that come out at you in the third dimension. Many of these involved sculpted face and/or faces merge with other items like keys, puzzle pieces, circuit boards. Whatever I feel makes my composition complete. Most of the time I like to paint on wood panels, that's just my preffered type of "canvas" (after all aren't Leonardo DiVinci's "Portrait of Ginerva de'Benci" and the "Mona Lisa" -- as well as other great artworks -- painted on wood panel). |
