A day like any other..... warm..sunny.....wretchedly humid.
Pancha lowered her new diesel shades onto the bridge of her nose. Striding down the corridor with slightly misplaced steps, she suddenly jolted to a stop.

Beatrice and Sindy careened around a corner and slammed into Pancha at full speed. Pancha's glasses tipped off her nose.

Sindy: HAHA! You have Katya glasses!

Everybody lowered their glasses in respectful silence. It had been a year since Katya's traumatic death. Only a specific few had bothered showing up at the funeral. It was a small affair... A few of her classmates.... a couple of out of town friends......

But that was a year back. Everyone was pretty much trying to get back to normal. They were all young women in their mid-twenties now. Though it only felt like yesterday when they'd finished grade nine. Sindy had emigrated to the States for around 10 years in between, but felt it compulsory to come back when she heard of Katya's tragic death. It felt like destiny that she had to return. It was ironic- such a tragic event bonding them together once again.

Pancha: So, sup guys?
Beatrice: Ummm.... nuthin much..... I was kinda wondering what cheese would taste like with hummous.
Sindy: Ewwww... hummous
Pancha: Sindy man, you haven't changed one bit
Sindy: Urrr.... like you have
Beatrice: So where are Zoha and Maha?
Pancha: Zoha couldn't come today- she's busy with the baby
Sindy: God. Why can't Zeeshan take care of it sometimes?
Beatrice: Didn't you tell her how important today is? I mean, today's the day we go to Ireland to scatter her ashes in the Irish sea....
Pancha: Oh. Maybe I shouldn't have said we're going to Ireland.
Sindy: Yeah....

A sudden sound at the end of the long corridor makes everyone turn around. Maha comes running down the corridor.

Maha: Hi guys!!! Hope I didn't come late
Beatrice: Not at all. We were just about to commence teleporting ourselves to Dublin.

Sindy holds out a packets of small jelly-bean shaped candy.
"Here everyone. Remember the rule- not more than one- otherwise you'll teleport yourself off this planet"

Everyone nods and takes a bean each. They all hold hands in silence. Sindy quietly starts pronoucing the encoded passwords syllable by syllable.

"RX2Y return FG65H lui 63453 transport Dubline Ireland"

Everyone squeezed their eyes shut as a giant ball of light enclosed them and transported them through the many portals and dimensions of time.

Maha opened her eyes a bit and yelled out in excitement.

"Look! I saw Elvis Presley! He looks so amazingly sesky!"
Sindy: MAHA! Close your eyes or we'll end up in some stoopid shitty place like England and we'll have to listen to those accents.

Maha: Oh ok, oops.

So.... after an exhausting journey, the four of them somehow ended up in the middle of Dublin's Industrial section.

Sindy: Whoa.... look at the guys!
Maha: Whoa, look at the clothes
Beatrice: Whoa....
Pancha: Alright.... now we have to remember to STAY CALM. Don't lose your head.
Sindy: Mhmmmmm, whatever <eyeing a cutie in the corner>
Pancha: I saw that!
Beatrice: Stop it! Stop it! I can't take it anymore. I wanna go home now.
Pancha: Like helllloo? We haven't even scattered her ashes yet. Guys.... remember- we're doing this for Katya.
Sindy: <grumbling> She always had the worst ideas...

Daaaadeeedaaaadeeedeeedeeee- someone's Nokia version 509238 starts ringing.

Sindy: Maha! Pick it up! We don't want these Irish people thinking we're freaks.
Maha: Ya.. ok... ok.... hold on
Beatrice: Hey! they're handing out free ducks!
Pancha: What?
Beatrice: Free ducks!
Daaaaadeeeeedaaaadeeedeeedeeee
Pancha: Pick up the phone!
Maha: I'm trying to find it!
Sindy: My god... how hard can it be to find a phone? And.... BEATRICE- where are you going?
Beatrice: The ducks!
Sindy: Ducks... ducks.... god......
