Dubai's this not-so-tiny li'l town in the Middle East. No, not in the middle of all the wars and stuff, far away from them. It's in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E. fer short) Emirates are like States, and each Emirate has a ruling Sheikh (sorta like a prezzident)
This is definately one of the non-traditional cities. More metropolitan, and yeah, we do have sky scrapers.
Why I'm writing this stuff? Well, I like ppl to know what kinda place I'm living in. I talk to ppl on the net, they ask where I live, I say Dubai, they say... "where's that again?".
Well, its right here!!!!!
We have sand dunes (they rock)
We have wadis (they rock) (wadis are li'l ponds in the desert oasis)
We have sandstorms (they rock)
We have heat (that sucks)
Toni Braxton's song 'The Heat''s a biiiiiiig hit here, though. I love the bit at the end where she goes 'Anyone fer some icecream?'
That's enough about Dubai for now, I started sweating.
