| The time has come for people to come to an understanding and bring a wholeness to this Country. It is time to grow up and see the light. Paranoid feelings will only destroy the fabric of the whole. We have gone through the time of the weak; it is time to come together; we don't have time for power hungry people that are looking out only for number one. What are we going leave our children? A world that we can proud of or a world full of number ones. What kind of world is that? I can speak for myself! I am sick and tired of these unkind ways that say only my side is right. The time has come to stand up and look around. The time has come to break the bonds of past reprehensible deeds, of our fathers, of our nation. In a country so rich of resources we must go forward or indeed we will be lost like so many other civilization before us. We are not the child with all of the toys, we are a leader of a new world! It is time to be that. There is no time for people to fight over who will be the top dog. It is time to decide, will we let the great leaders of our past down because we are little children not able to look beyond the fact we are not the same? Three words come to mind: respect, dignity and understanding. When I was young I was taught, " People deserve respect no matter their religion, creed, race, or lifestyle." In the United States of America we are going through a trail and if we are not together we will surely be a nation of forgotten dreams. |
