Daniel Hostutler should be corrected to David Hostotler. Isaac and David were brothers. At that time they spelled their last name Hostotler. It was later changed to Hostotle. David Hostotler was my great grandfather. Isaac and David had an older brother, William Hostotler, who served in the 19th and later in the 20th Virginia Cavalry (Confederate).

David Hostotler was born on July 18, 1844, near Tupper's Plains, Meigs County, Ohio.
