Feb 28/62 to Jun 30/62: STATION - Burning Springs, Va.—RECORD OFEVENTS: Ordered from Elizabeth to Arnoldsburg Apr 26th; arrived at Arnoldsburg May 2nd; a distance of 43 miles; May 6th an attack made by a band of guerrillas, a general engagement ensued; they retreated with some loss; none on our side; June 7th ordered from Arnoldsburg to Burning Springs; arrived June 8th, distance 38 miles; sent out a scout June 21st, distance of 12 miles; attacked a squad of guerrillas and routed them, killing 1 man and wounding several.

Apr 10, 1863: STATION - Camp Spencer, Roane County, Va.—no report—

Mar/Apr 1863: STATION - Parkersburg, Va.—RECORD OF EVENTS - Received orders Mar 2nd, 63 to proceed to
Spencer, Va.  from Parkersburg, Va. a distance of 60 miles; was there near 2 months scouting through that section of
country until 28th April 63 at which time we were ordered toParkersburg on a force march by way of Ravenswood a
distance of 38 miles by land to Ravenswood 37 miles below Parkersburg, Va.; left Spencer at 5 o’clock PM of 28th and
landed in Ravenswood at 5 o’clock PM of  29th; We got on a boat immediately and landed in Parkersburg on the
morning of the 30th, a distance of  75 miles in 36 hours.

May/Jun 1863: STATION - Clarksburg, WVa.—RECORD OF EVENTS - Lieut John Holt of this company started on a
scout to the oil wells on the16th of May 63 by  way of Elizabeth; had some skirmishing on the way in which there was 4
guerrillas killed and 3 horses and 1 mule and some guns captured by our boys; the expedition returned on the 19th of
May 63 without the loss of any killed or hurt.

Jul/Aug 1863: STATION - Sutton, Braxton County, Wva - RECORD  OF EVENTS -July 3rd ordered to Clarksburg; left
Parkersburg 5 o’clock PM; arrived at Clarksburg at 3 o’clock AM of 4th; ordered from Clarksburg to NewCreek; arrived
at New Creek on the 6th;  staid until 14th and started to Hancock, Md.; staid there until Aug 18th, 63 when we was
ordered to Parkersburg; arrived at Parkersburg on the 19th; Aug 21st received orders to go to Sutton; arrived at Sutton
Aug 28th, 63.

Sept/Oct 1863: STATION - Bulltown, WVa.—RECORD OF EVENTS - Changed station from Sutton to Bulltown,
 Braxton County, WVa.on Sept 25th, 1863, a distance of 17 miles; was attacked Oct 13th, 4 o’clock AM by a rebel force
 under command of  Wm. L.Jackson; a sharp fight ensued which lasted about 12 ? hours; the enemy was defeated with
the loss of 25 killed, 64 wounded; our loss was 2 wounded.

Mar/Apr 1864: STATION - Parkersburg, WVa.—RECORD OF EVENTS - Apr 2, 64 left Bulltown, WVa.; marched to
 Beverly a distance of 62 miles; left Beverly the 8th; arrived at Weston the 11th, a distance of 46 miles; left Weston Apr
 21st; arrived at Clarksburg the 22nd; left Clarksburg by railway to Parkersburg, a distance of 82 miles.

May/Jun 1864: STATION - Clarksburg, WVa.—no report—

Jul/Aug 1864: STATION - New Creek, WVa.—RECORD OF EVENTS - Received orders on the 1st of July to move to
Webster Station to guard prisoners of war; prisoners on the 2nd of July started to Wheeling; the same night ordered to
Camp Chase with the same prisoners; returned to Wheeling on the 4th of July; received orders to report to New Creek,
WVa.; arrived on the 5th of July; was on several hard scouts; received orders on the1st of Aug to report to Maj James
L. Simpson for duty at Cumberland, Md; arrived on the morning of the 2nd of Aug; received orders to go to Bradys
Mills; Aug 4th received orders to move to New Creek, Wva.; arrived at 3 ? PM and found our forces engaged with the
 enemy under Genl McCausland; We were in the engagement which resulted in the loss of 1 killed and 5 wounded

Sept/Oct 1864: STATION - Camp Cedar Creek, Va.—RECORD OF EVENTS - received orders to join our regiment 19
Sept 64; left New Creek, Wva. Sept 19th by rail to Hancock, Md.; marched from Hancock, Md.to Harrisonburg,Va. via
Hagerstown, Md., Harpers Ferry and Winchester, Va.; arrived at Harrisonburg, Va on the 2nd of Oct, 64 having marched
a distance of 164 miles; left Harrisonburg, Va.on the 6th of Oct, 64; arrived near Cedar Creek, Va on the 10th Oct 64, a
distance of 62 miles; was engaged in the skirmish on the 13th Oct 64 and in the fight on the 19th Oct 64

COMPANY MUSTER-OUT ROLL of Capt George W. Parriott, Company  “H”  in the11 Regt of WVa Infty Vols
commanded by Col Van H. Bukey called into service of the United States by the President at Littleton, WVa on the14th
day of  Nov 1861, to serve  for the term of  3 years from the date of enrollment, unless sooner discharged; to the 14th day
of  Nov 1864, when discharged by reason of expiration of term of service.  The Company was organized by Lt. Geo. W.
Parriott at Littleton, Wva. in the month of Nov1861 and marched to Parkersburg, WVa.where it arrived the 27th of
Nov 1861, a distance of 164 miles...CERTIFICATE OF MUSTERING OFFICER: I certify, on  Honor, That I have at
station near Newtown, Va.on the 14 day of Nov 1864 carefully examined this Roll, as far as practicable, caused the
 allowances, stoppages, and remarks to be justly and properly  stated, and have mustered the Company for discharge and
it is hereby honorably discharged from the service of the United States to date from Nov 14, 1864...Jere Horton, 2nd
