This is a wonderful tool to have for web design.

Image Slicing cuts an image into separate pieces.
This makes the whole image easier and faster to load
because the pieces are saved and displayed as many smaller images.

My image at the top is actually quite large
but did you notice how fast it loaded?

It is sliced into 9 sections and each section is numbered.
The middle section is linked to my Portfolio page.

I have also remade this page with borders around the individual pieces
so you can better see them.
