VITAL RECORDS OF WARE

 

We plan to feature a series of articles showing selected portions of the Vital Records of various Massachusetts Towns in which Jabez Olmsted and his descendants lived. We will commence with the Vital Records of Ware, copied from the Cobin Collection and the original records. We will show only Olmsted births, marriages and deaths in the first issue of the newsletter, and show other names in future issues. The numbers refers to the number of an individual in the GOFA, and were assigned by the editor [COH]. We ask readers to review the assignments. Olmsted was spelled variously, as shown. Note spelling of Tiden, 9094, as GOFA spelled it Gideon.  Note a “new“ daughter of Jeremiah (9071) and Elizabeth, named Lurana. The dates do not necessarily agree with those in the GOFA.
