| Short Bio: Maria grew up in Phoenix Arizona, living off the street, running away from home quite often. School posed no challenge for her, neither did the 'petty' social situations there. She began to pick pockets and do whatever it took to survive... even when she ended up in a plane crash. wandering around in the desert. On her last legs she fell to the sand and cried for water... screamed for it, for it was the only thing that would give her life. The heavens opened, and gave her water. Since then Maria had had a turnaround, now searching for the purpose of her life... this was when Dr. Immanuel located her in Phoenix and adopted her into his school. And so began the career of the 'Forecast.' |

| Her adventures were just begginning. Under the tutelage of Dr. Marcus Immanuel, Maria learned to harness the powers of the weather. As a surrogate father, Immanuel taught her to carry herself like a lady, to face up to challenges beyond her ability, and to be sensitive to the needs of others, even on the battlefield. With the early Gifted including: Blue, Pillar, Meghinus, Forecast and Blizz, led by Dr. Manny himself. The crew went on many adventures with a slightly fluctuating membership until Dr. Manny dissappeared in a fluke explosion. He is legally dead however rare psionic contact causes many Gifted members to believe him to be still alive. It was at this time that an old friend of the Doc's, Overseer came to help oversee the young ones and Forecast and a few others began to rebuild the group. Since then Forecast has faced thugs, Anti-Mutant Task Force, torture, in-team conflict, Sweeper droids and even the unspeakable evils of Dr. Diabolical. She is respected among her teammates and eventually given charge of the Silver Squad of the Gifted. She is not the strongest, nor even the smartest, and certainly not the oldest, but everyone knows, when Maria says something, it will happen... That's what why she's: |
