Title VII Indian Education is an education based program, from the US Department of Education, for Indian students enrolled in a Tribe and in a Sampson County or Clinton City School.  The Indian education coordinator for four Clinton City Schools is Mrs. Sharon Williams and the coordinator for the nine county schools is Mrs. Joyce Locklear.  Title VII teaches culture enrichment as well as the importance of a high quality education.  Both coordinators make frequent follow ups with students.  The Title VII Indian Education Advisory Board is made up of local Indian parents, students, teachers and professional in the education system.  The meet in effort to plan, develop and follow up for all events going on in the schools system for Indian children.
