Patrick Henry Hargon born 1831; Three months after the fall of Fort sumter he enlisted as 3 Sgt. in the Round Top Guerillas. A Cavalry Company formed to repell any enemy envasion of Texas. This unit was headquartered in Fayette County Texas. Less than a year later at the age of 31 on May 14 1862 Hargon enlisted in Company D of Wauls' Legion. He served with this unit until the close of the war. Patrick Hargon died November 11, 1917 at the Confederate Home in Llano Texas. Both Patrick and his wife Francis are buried at the Llano Texas Cemetery contributed by Hunter Henry |
