Allen Gregory Duke Private
  son of J.W. Duke born 26 August 1846 died 5
November 1905 buried at Edgemont in Anniston,
Alabama. He first entered service at the age of 14.
Then after 3 years on 12 April 1864 he joined
Company G of the 1st Georgia Cavalry and was
paroled 3 May 1865 at Charlotte North Carolina
and reported to Talladega 24 May 1865. The photo
was taken at the age of 18 in June 1864 when he
was issued a new uniform.

George Shepherd Ham - Private - Company D.
Born 17 May 1838 in Harris County, Georgia.
       He first entered service near Oxford, Alabama  by
Capt.Draper. Captured 7 January 1864 near Dandridge,
Tennessee, and forward to Louisville, Kentucky and then
transferred to Rock Island, Illinois. He was  admitted to
Jackson Hospital, Richmond, Va for Dibilitas.
Died 20 March 1913 at Talladega, Alabama and is
buried at Hill Cemetery.

David Lafayette Stephens - Private - Company C.
David was born 4 August 1833 in Clark County, Georgia.
He enlisted in June 1862. He was captured at Liberty Gap, Tennessee 27 June 1863, forwarded to Nashville 30 June
1863, fowarded to Louisville, Kentucky 3 July 1863. On 6 July 1863 fowarded to Camp Chase, Ohio and finally to Ft. Delaware on 14 July 1863. He was released from Ft.
Delaware 14 June 1865.David died 16 March 1907 in
Winston County, Alabama.

Died 6 July 1893 in Russell County, Alabama
Buried Thompson's lot, Hurtsboro Cemetery,
