Born 24 June 1844 in Bulloch County, Georgia
Enlisted 2 May 1862. He was captured at Cedar
Creek, Virginia 19 October 1864 and sent to Point
Lookout Maryland where he was paroled. Transferred
13 February 1865, received 14 or 15 February at
Boulware and Cox Landing.
Died 1 February 1917 in Ware County Georgia and is
buried at Bagley Cemetery in Ware County.
