Jason M. Brazelton - Private - Company C. Jason was born June 1832 near Gurley,Alabama. He enlisted 16 December 1862 at Huntsville, Alabama. He was captured in February 1865 and imprisoned at Nashville, Tennessee until the close of the war. He was a good christian and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Jason died 1 November 1903 at his home one mile west of Gurley. His funeral was held on Monday at Kings Graveyard at Haden.Alabama. Rev.
