George Washington Clibourne
born @1838 in Worsham, Virginia died December
23,1909 at Hampton Sydney, Virginia. He servered
in Company I.  under Stonewall Jackson. He was a
cabinet maker, casket maker, rebuilt the Prince Edward Courthouse after the fire. He also served as Deputy Post
Master at Worsham, Virginia.

Benjamin White -Flag Bearer - Company D.
Born 1826 in Tazewell, Virginia first entered
service August 22, 1861 at the age of 34. He
was promoted to Sergeant and fought actively
throughout the war. He was wounded at the
Battle of Winchester, Virginia. His forehead
was slashed by a sabre which caused the skin
and blood to cover his eyes causing tempory
blindness. Captured he was sent to Point
Lookout, Maryland were he remained until the
end of the war in 1865. Once released he walked
his way back across the mountains to home.
