Simeon Broadway Robinson -Private - Company G.
                                                    Madison Guards
Born 9 February 1845 in South Carolina. At about the  age of 5
he moved to  Fannin, Mississippi.  Enlisted 15  July 1861 age 16
at Canton, Mississippi. Captured 3  May 1863 at Fredericksburg paroled 23 May 1863 and exchanged.Simeon was severely
wounded 6 May 1864 at  the Wilderness.  He also fought at
Savage Station, Malvern Hill, Maryland Heights, Sharpsburg,
Gettysburg, Chickamauga, and Chattanooga. He was paroled
9 April 1865 at Appomattox Courthouse, Virginia. Simeon was
the only man left in his Company at the surrender.
Died abt 1895.
