139.WEBB,Archibald C.; Present Post Office address: Cuba, Ala; b 20 Nov 1827 near Bashi in Clark County, Ala; first entered the service as Private about 1 Mar 1864 at Mobile, Ala in Regt of 90 Day Vol Commanded by Col Higley and continued ur about middle of Apr when discharged at his request to Join hO Ala Regt. reenlisted as Private in middle Apr 1862 at Mobile, Ala in Co K and transfered to A 40 Ala Regt and continued until surrender, was wounded 28 Jul 1864 in the
battle of Atlanta from which he was disabled and put on the retired list. From that wound he has been a cripple to the present time.
