               Archaeology and
             Biblical Archaeology

Archaeology, biblical and otherwise, is a fascinating subject for most, including the majority like myself with no academic knowledge in the subject.

There are many pitfalls, especially in determining the chronology of events; the more so for those who believe with me that, "God, (who) at various times and in various ways spoke in times past to the prophets."   (Hebrews 1:1)

I have found the Bibarch site (top right) to give not only good archaeology but also a very fair discussion on the difficult questions, both archaeological and scriptural.
