a. Provide a venue for enhancing the knowledge of the student in a particular topic in Philosophy
b. Provide a venue for intellectual discussion

a. Let the student react freely, without rigid time constraints, regarding the topic that was discussed during the lecture.
b. Allow the students to express their ideas in an informal way.
c. Enhance the students� capabilities to talk and express ideas freely.
