                                               Article XIV
                                          APPOINTMENTS

Sec. 1  Committee Heads and Year Level Representatives shall be
           appointed by the President as agreed upon by the Execom.
Sec. 2  Any bonafide member currently enrolled during his term of
          office is qualified to be an appointed officer.
Sec. 3  Vacancies in the Execom shall be filled by appointing a member
           in good standing. The said appointee shall hold office acting
           capacity for the unexpired term of office of the immediate       
           predecessors, or until a special election thereof as authorized by
           the Execom or the General Membership.
Sec. 4  The term of office of the Committee Heads and Year Level
           Representatives shall be for one semester only. They can be
           re-appointed depending on the decision of the Execom.


                                                Article XV
                                           AMENDMENTS

           This Constitution of COGITO may be amended through the
initiative of the Executive Committee by creating an Ad hoc Committee
for the specific task. Policies and intended amendments shall be
distributed to all members within a reasonable period of time prior to
the conveying of the Execom. Afterwhich, the amendments are finally presented to the entire membership and becomes effective only after a
two-thirds (2/3) affirmative vote of the entire membership.


                                            Article XVI
                                         EFFECTIVITY

           The constitution shall take effect upon its ratification by all
Cogitans through a plebiscite.
