Article XI
THE ADVISER
Sec. 1 The adviser of COGITO shall be a full-time faculty member of the
Academic Staff of Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
Sec. 2 He shall be recommended by the Chairman of the Philosophy
Department of the Colegio or chosen by the Execom.
Sec. 3 He shall act as liason between COGITO and the Administration.
Sec. 4 He may attend the Execom Meeting and other activities of COGITO.
Article XII
MEETINGS
Sec. 1 General Assembly:
The Colegio shall hold General Assembly or the General
Membership meeting regularly may be determined by the
Execom. The GA shall be the venue for camaraderie and
acquaintance, oathtaking, ceremony, turn-over rites, and
announcement of future projects of the organization.
Sec. 2 Execom Meeting
The members of the Execom shall meet every month. The
President, being its chair shall preside over the meeting. Attendance
is compulsory. Quorum shall be two-thirds (2/3), if no quorum is
met, the presiding officer may still continue the meeting provided
that any matters of decision-making by the Execom must be
suspended until the time quorum is met for any action to be the
validly decided upon.
Sec. 3 Standing Committee�s Meeting
Committee head may call for a meeting by the Vice-President. The
planning and the deliberation of the activities are done at this
meeting. Also, this serve as the venue for the submission of
individual committee report to its presider. The President may or
may not be present at the meeting.
Sec. 4 Emergency Meeting
An emergency meeting of the officers and/or of the members may
be called upon if necessary.
