| Article VI RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF THE MEMBERS Sec. 1 Regular members and affiliates alike: 1.1 To participate in all organization activities. 1.2 To know and discuss all policies, program, projects and actions concerning the organization. 1.3 To avail himself of the services, benefits and privileges of the organization. 1.4 To be fully informed of all activities and plans of the organization. 1.5 To have an access to official records and other financial records of the organization. 1.6 To hold office, if qualified. 1.7 To file for the impeachment of any elected person. 1.8 To avail himself of the rightful procedure and due process when accussed. 1.9 To redress his grievances and complaints to the Execom against an officer or a member in case of any form of unfair treatment, maltreatment or harassment. Sec. 2 All Cogitans shall have the following duties and obligations: 2.1 To uphold the Constitution of the organization and abide with its laws and principles. 2.2 To uphold the integrity and the name of COGITO. 2.3 To keep the philosophical spirit alive at all time. 2.4 To be aware and sensitive to the universal issues of our times. 2.5 To unite and work for the attainment of the organization�s objectives. 2.6 To keep himself fully informed of the plans and activities of the organization. 2.7 To attend the General Assembly and other meetings and activities when need arises. 2.8 To pay dues promptly. 2.9 To perform the duties and tasks delegated to him by the Execom. 2.10 To comply with the duty promulgated decision of the Execom that will concern and benefit the whole organization. |
