OUR BASIC BELIEFS:
The Church of God (7th Day) in Claremore, Oklahoma is a Sabbath keeping (Saturday) church that believes in the Second Advent or Coming of Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God (not God, but one with God). We believe in the Seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday), the Ten Commandments (including the 4th), the faith of Jesus Christ as Lord and head of the church, and the Law of the Clean and Unclean (diet) are still valid and in effect today, searching only the Scriptures of Truth (Old and New Testaments) the Bible (King James Version) rather than the writings of the Early Church Fathers or any other denominational creeds. |

WHAT DENOMINATION IS THE CHURCH OF GOD (7TH DAY)? Our church did not come out of Catholicism. We aren't Adventist, Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Pentecostal, or Protestant. Our denomi-nation is (Christian) CHURCH OF GOD. Seventh Day is added to our name to distinquish us from the other Churches of God that meet on Sunday's and to show we meet on the Bible Sabbath, Saturday. |
