The 2nd Annual Wrench 'n Feed- Mechanicsburg, PA - February 26The weatherman said it was supposed to be sunny and the mid-60's once the fog burns off. With this in mind and the fact that I had some new toys that came in at JT Motorsports, I headed out to Frederick first. I figured that by the time I got to Rick's, the sun would be out, the garage doors would be open, the crowd would grow. Buzz- I rode in a steady drizzle and fog from the Howard County Fairgrounds all the way to home - nearly 10 hours later. Sorta reminded me of the last leg of my February Iron Butt run. I rolled up the alley behind Rick's place (American Cafe, "Play it Sam") the garage door crawls open and Guy, Russell, Wimp, and Rick are there to meet n greet. The corn chowder is being served. Russ, Mike, Andy, Ricky, and Tony "Grilled Cheese" Borum turn up just a bit later. John Lippy rolled in on his "new" '86, and the event was fully underway. Guy took some real nice pictures of the Event, as well. pic1 pic2
I rode off a little later into the gloom that had become the "beautiful" day the forecasters had predicted. Thanks Rick. Crab Cakes is next. Can't wait.
