- p. 94 In the
Friday the 13th Part 3 review he says that Jason has an ax stuck in his head to kill him, but that the police cant find his body.  This is entirely not true, and good evidence that even the most seasoned horror vet should rewatch a movie before reviewing it.  He also mentions a ten minute yo yo scene, which is in fact nowhere near ten minutes.  He also perpetuates a false rumor the Dana Kimmel had a hand in reducing the gore and nudity content in the film, and even changed the ending!  I dont know what kind of creative control he thinks this young lady had  For clarification purposes, it appears that Kimmel only objected to one line that really had no effect on the finished product.  He also insinuates that Paramount fronted $4 million for this film.  The movies were actually produced independently and sold to Paramount for distribution.

- p 173 in the
Texas Chainsaw Massacre review he refers to Leatherface as a giggling psychopath.  I dont quite understand that.

- p. 172 in the
Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 review he says that Stretch has a videotape of Leatherface killing a pair of frat kids.  Im sure he knows that it was an audiotape, since it was a radio show, but how was this error missed before the book went to print?

- p. 180 in the
Unhinged review he mentions that the ending wont surprise anyone who has seen Sleepaway Camp.  Thats fine, but if hes insinuating that Unhinged is derivative it should be noted that it came out a year before Sleepaway Camp.  A minor complaint really.

- p. 76 in the
Clown at Midnight review he makes it sound like Canadian lensed slasher films are rare, but in the International Slashers section on p. 187 he makes it out to be just the opposite.

- p. 56 when discussing
A Nightmare on Elm St. 3 he spells Kristens name incorrectly as Kristyn, but he spells it correctly in the review for the film on p.133.  On p. 57 he also mentions that the last we see of Kristens mother is when Freddy cuts off her head.  While this is true for this film, she does re appear in part 4.

- p. 113 in the
Hospital Massacre review, he refers to a character as Harold.  Later in the same paragraph he calls him Howard, but is calling him Harold again before the short review is over.  Things like this left me wondering if anyone did a proofread before slapping the price tag on this one.

- On several occasions he mentions a films gross and budget.  I wish he would footnote these with bibliographical information.  It seems like hes skewring facts at times by comparing unequivilent grosses.  When he wants to portray a film as a financial success he mentions it worldwide gross, but if it suites his point to make a film look less successful hell only mention the domestic gross.  More consistency would help here.
