Let not your soul be sad
Easter is a time of joy
When all hearts should be glad,
Glad to know that Jesus Christ
Made it possible for men
To have their sins forgiven
And, like Him, to live again . . .
So at this joyous season
May the wondrous Easter Story
Renew our Faith so we may be
Partakers of "His Glory!"

AN EASTER TO REMEMBER

Easter is a time to remember, not to forget.
Jesus was led to the cross for his fate to be met.
He knew he was sent here to earth to save us.
By doing this, he must go to the cross, this man Jesus.

His hands and feet were pierced with many a nail.
The color went from his body and his face went pale.
Jesus knew that his death was very near,
but he knew he was going home and he did not fear.

"Forgive them Father for they know not what they do"
Jesus said, as he hung on the cross to save me and you.
He died, was buried and three days later he arose.
He went to His Heavenly home, every Christian knows.

Easter a joyous season it is to be,
knowing we have a God who loves you and me.
Sing hallelujah and make it a time to rejoice.
Praise God and let the Heavens hear every voice.
