| he stepped on the break of his new lexus coupe right after he saw a raccoon passed by the road. after kelvin dropped his fianc�e home from the movie, rush hours 2, he decides to drive to see someone special. it's a familiar road. he has not been here for almost 2 years. but the last time he remembered driving on this road was in ruby's brand new BMW. ruby.. she is the reason that he wanted to drop his fianc�e, stephane, home in such a hurry. the female character in the movie reminded him someone he had dated 2 years ago but yet he could never get her out of his mind. ruby was such a childish girl.. he was glad he did not choose ruby to be his partner for life and instead, he had picked someone else. stephanie was never as pretty as ruby.. yet she has everything that ruby does not have. stephanie is quiet, mature, understanding and elegant, where as ruby.. ruby is like wild fire in the forest. kelvin can never forget making love with ruby. she bites.. kicks.. screams... scratched on his back... where as stephane....... "i should have called her". kelvin speaks to himself. he is not here without plans. he wants to see her. he picks up his cell and dials that number he used to dial everyday. a sweet voice from the other end vibes through the handset. "hello". it was a simple hello, yet it was like a shock went through kelvin's spine.. all these past memories had floated up on top of his mind. how ruby's lips felt on his tongue when he kissed her the first time. the first hug from her; the first argument they had and the first time he tasted ruby's skin from her ears to her toes without missing any spot on her body..... she is wearing what little pink tank top and the same shorts as she always wore before. from her sleepy eyes, kelvin can tell she might be sleeping before he called. and then ruby slides herself into his Lexus. ``````````````````````````` how did it happen? no one really knows. from breaking of the news about his marriage to her to wildly making love on the shore of long island sound in the back seat of his car, kelvin can hardly remember how it could end up like this. all he really wants is just to look at her for the last time. and he knows ruby has a new boyfriend, a new life....in fact, after they broke up; she has been through at least 3 relationships. and as for him, he is about to be married. why does he still have that jealous feeling when he heard anything about ruby's relationship? maybe his marriage will be a big mistake. but then again, he remembers what his friend told him... "marriage has nothing to do with love." is it? after the wild love making with ruby, he looks at ruby's naked childish body under the moon light through his car's sunroof, kelvin is very confused. everything about ruby is just so right, so fit, and so full of surprise. it's more then wildfire. it's LIFE! where as life with stephanie... it's like spring water from the bottle. very refreshing but yet, tasteless. it's essential for life. but heck! kelvin is still young and life should not be like water. he needs waves in life.. he needs life as a roller coaster. what is he supposed to do? go back to stephanie and get ready to be her groom? or tell her that their marriage is over? kevin really needs sometimes to think about it over.. as he closed his eyes with the scent of mixed sweat and leather in his car. he is just too tired to think now. it will be better tomorrow. he thinks..... |
