| Clueless 2001/09/20 10:58:12 she slept on his bed peacefully. she said she had not have a good sleep for so many days already. her face turned side way on the pillow that his ex bought her for his birthday. she curled herself up like a little shrimp with her jeans on. she hugged his other pillow, as it was a lifesaver in a rapid. they were watching tv.. and when he turned his head back few minutes later.. she was asleep as a baby already. he could almost see the tears left on the corner of her eyes. he walked over next to the bed. looked at her for a moment and lowered himself right next to her.. gave her a kiss on her cheek.. then he kissed away her tears. she was startled.. opened her beautiful eyes... extended her arms.. hugged him.. she smelled so good.. he thought. even after a whole day of working in a hot day, she still smelled like fresh lily out of water, as if nothing in the world mattered to her at all. she laughed a lot.. but deep in her heart.. she felt sad.. wanting to kill herself was always in her mind. he could tell her sorrow from her laughter.. but he never really knew how to get her to talk to him. she always turned herself away when he asked. knowing her for almost 2 years.. he could see her changed from a happy little girl to a little sad lady. little thin lines of wrinkles started to show up on the corner of her eyes. if he never looked at her so closely.. he would never see them. they were there probably from crying.. he thought. but why is it? he had asked before... for so many times.. but she would never tell.. he knew her dad was not feeling too well lately.. and her family seemed to have little financial crisis... but he knew she was smart and strong enough to handle them. then what was it? she turned around and facing him on his bed. feeling his warm breath on her face. he asked again. tears started to flow from her eyes again.. "i miss her.. my best friend.. passed away from cancer months ago.. i felt so lonely...i don't know what to do... i am so clueless." she sobbed and whispered. he hugged her again.. tightly in his arms. he wanted to tell her not to be sad and stop crying. but instead of telling her.. he hugged her even tighter till both of them could not breathe comfortably. he knew she would be her responsibility from now on.. he wanted to take care of her.. make her happy again... he wanted to be the one who understand her the best. and he wanted to make sure she is not clueless anymore and show her a direction.. he really wanted to do so. but he did not know how to tell her. but he knew it would be different.. he did not have to say anything. she would know.. it would be better... he wanted to be the one closest to her.... and be there for her.. always.... |
