RMCW 8-13-04 The entire roster went out to ringside as Commissioner Thunder stepped down into the active roster and announced the new president. The president announced that he would be doing things differently, and that he played no favorites. He went to get out of the ring and Ms. Von Sutton got into the ring and spoke her piece. The president told her she was right, but that Shauma still had a match that night against JDT. Match #1 Jay Synn def. My review of RMCW 8-13-04 There were some points of the RMCW show that I really liked. While the main event went a little long, I think the outcome was perfect. It is good to see a heel have the belt, the fans will be more anxious to come and see him be defeated. I really enjoyed the Jay Synn/Brett Young match. The two worked well together, and the crowd seemed very into the match. I saw a strong lack of heart from the roster though. It just seemed like they were out there for some other reason than wanting to be out there. I think the matches had a strong lack of dedication and desire to them, which is unusual for an RMCW show. I like seeing a president that actually looks like a president and I look for Theodore to do great things for the federation. The wrestlers seemed to react well to the new president as well, which I think will set up some good feuds down the line. I would really like to see RMCW have a stronger fan base. They had a few more than usual this show, but still not as many as I would like to see. There has got to be a way to draw more interest, because no one will come see you if they don't know you're there.

High Velocity, after such a long absence, really needed to pull off a good show. I think they were able to do so, with a few minor things that I didn't really care for. For one, I don't think Bud Doobie should've been put into a title situation. Doobie has done nothing as of late to prove himself worthy of a title of that magnitude. I thought it was nice to see some out of towners, however I don't think Big D was an even match for Jintsu. I really enjoyed the tag team match, and would say that it was easily the best match on the card. Morales and Diamond make a great team, and I hope that HVW can continue to use them in that capacity. I really thought the Colorado title match was great too, however I would've liked to see more of the match, instead of focusing on Creeper's pants falling down. Perhaps Creeper should invest in some tighter fitting ring attire. It was nice to see such a large crowd as well. At any given time there were at least 90 people watching the show. At it's highest point 150 people came to watch all the fun. While 90 still isn't an outstanding number, it is better than many places have been doing, and it will be nice to see those numhers increase.

My review of Fusion 8-14-04 I really enjoyed a lot of the aspects of this show. There were a lot of surprises, which I really like seeing in shows these days. I thought it was great to see Champagne win, because no one saw it coming. I thought it was great to see Jesse Williams back, and cost Chan his match. Speaking of Chan, I will be sad to see him go. He has been a great part of Colorado wrestling for the last few years, and his ring presence will be missed greatly. There were some things I didn't like. I don't understand why someone Jintsu's size would be taken down that often, or that quickly, by Epic. I think Epic is a talented wrestler, however I am not sure I agree with him getting a win over someone twice his size. I am also a little unsure about Fusion changing gimicks around. For example, why is Chip called Chip everywhere else, but Jeff in Fusion. I just think it makes things a little inconsistant for the fans that follow all the federations. However, and overall, fantastic show for Fusion.
