1953 Chevy

(2-14-01) Car won't start. I'm thinking the starter might be shot, but whatever it is i'll have it fixed and running in a day or two. (2-17-01) Back on e-bay, no reserve this time. Here it is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=561553890. Replaced starter, but turn-on wire has no current. Will fix tomrrow. (2-18-01)Fixed, running good as new again. (2-21-01)It has been taken off of e-bay. Apparently I can't mention accepting trades on there. (2-26-01)Decided to lower the price to $7500. New pictures on page 2. (3-6-01)Put in new spark plugs & wires. Also put on a new thermostat housing gasket, and a fuel pump blockoff plate(cleaned up the engine compartment a bit) Wil get more pics up soon. (3-7-01)Lowering price again, $7k. I NEED to sell ASAP. (5-6-01)Finally found my password for this account. The car is SOLD now. I got the door aligned, made some fiberglass kick pods, and a frew other things fixed. This was my 53 chevy sedan delivery. The car has a 350 under the hood with a 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, 3 speed auto shifter(TH350), 12 bolt 3:55 rear end built for drag racin', and fully customized. I also put in a dome light(bulb broken though).
Here it is.
Eep! brakes wen't out, door was open, hit a van, wrenched it the wrong way.
Another picture of the dent. The door dosn't open correctly now.
(9-9-00) Swapped out the fender with this one
(9-9-00) It's not as pretty, but hey it doesn't have a big dent

Fin shot, i really like these custom lenses, they make a cool diamond pattern when the light goes on...
.. As can be seen here.
Mean front shot of the car
The new air shocks I put in
Holy hoses Batman! someone stole my radiator and replaced it with a 2x4! Not really, my radiator burst on me the other day.. probably will have to get a new one.
Thought I'd put up a side shot to show just how short this thing is. (1/8/01) I put my rebuild radiator back in, in runs quite a bit cooler now, around 150. Before it ran around 180, and while the radiator was burst it was running 230 or higher. . (2/26/01) New pictures of the car

The ding on the passenger door.
Interior from the rear, I have the cloth that covers the back of the seat, but missing upholstry clips.
Another shot from rear.
The door. I cut those two holes, one for a handle, and one for the lock. I had a fabricated handle for the inside, but have since taken it off. The upholstry clips are stripped and need to be replaced.
Shot of the front of the interior. The seats are from a '93 Mazda MX3.
Shot from the front.
Window is cracked, but still works.
Here you can see how much the door is offset.
And again...
again...
Front shot of the car with new fender.
The rims. All that rust is surface rust. The rear tires do have some deeper rust that has eaten through the chrome. The rust can be taken off with chrome cleaner.
