Rutherford, Taylor & co. was founded in 1953 by James Rutherford, a Public Accountant. Mike Taylor came on board in 1974, with Robert Lake entering the partnership in 1980. Sadly, Mr. Rutherford, who retired in the early 80's passed away in April of 2003.

The firm currently has the two partner CPA's, three staff accountants, of which I am one, and six other employees. I have worked here since August of 2002, and have really enjoyed getting to know the ins and outs of auditing school districts and non-profit entities.
