Locked, Loaded, and Ready to SHOOT!!!!

July 23, 2007

It really is amazing how a few friends, a few enemies, a few new bookings and a little improvement can change your whole aspect on the business of Professional Wrestling.  Since the last time I have updated my shoot column, all of the catagories have happened.

One year ago I was so dis heartened by the business, which truthfully, that is easy to do when you are the low man on stick.  I had just last the Television championship in CW and my career was pretty much going nowhere.  I was at Matt's house when EZ Money called me and told me that he got me on some shows up in Virginia for NWA All Star Wreslting.  I was pumped to say the least since I had heard Tobe put Virginia over since the first time he went up.  I took EZ up on that offer and it really seemed like things started to sky rocket.  Now I am getting booked in VA, NC, and TN steadily.  The greatest thing was, for the first time in about a year, I was improving in the ring again.

I was damn near close to making CW nothing but a distant memory when Chris Richards called me up one day.  He pretty much could see I was on my way out of the door in CW.  He told me that he wanted me to join him and John Hawkins in the TN Rednecks.  I agreed and man what a move it was.  In CW, I went from the dreaded match number "two" to the main event in Hangman's Noose matches and the Ladder Match.  On top of that, I earned most of the boys respect....most of the boys, and the ones I didn't don't really matter, because they can't get me anywhere and only care about themself anyway!

Also within the past year, I have earned so many new friendships in the business.  These are people that I walk into the locker room and am actually happy to be around...Jason, Mikey, Chase, Highspots Men and plenty others, no heat if your name was not mentioned!

I have also go to step in the ring with some people recently I never even dreamed I  would get to like Jason, Maven and Tracy Smothers.  I have truthfully had a blast in the last ten months of my life, and I would not give away a single moment of them because they were all worth the bad times I had in the business the year and a half before!

Until next time,
