Our pledge and national motto Unconstitutional?  Would they not have caught on to that sooner if it were true? Will the constitution itself be declared unconstitutional due to its reference to God in the statement "all men being created equal? If we don't fight to keep our heritage, who will? Are they going to next change the historical records to hide the fact that the civil war was won by a federal government who marched to the words, "My eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord....."? Has anyone checked into what the founding fathers ment by the term "separation of church and state"? The term came from a letter written after a government meeting (that was held in a church) by members of our federal government who wanted to ensure that congress would not be able to make a law that mandated religion. "Separation of church and state" in its CORRECT usage was a means to protect out freedom to worship God. It prevented the government from intefearing with our right to worship and it started at a time when ALL members of government had to be a Christian in order to hold office in this country. This same group of people was responsible for the Holy Bible being the book that everyone swore on in a court of law. The constitution itself was founded on biblical principles and all laws governing our country were biblically based. It is the athiest movement, not the our pledge/motto that is unconstititional.

The US pledge:   I pledge allegence to the flag of the United States Of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
