| This website was created as a final project in Russian 99A (Russian Culture and History), at UCLA. The course is an overview of Russian history from the earliest days through the beginning of the twentieth century. I chose to make the website because I have never tried to make one before, and I thought it would be an interesting alternative to writing another term paper. I found that it took much longer than I had expected, and I probably could have written a paper in less time, but it would not have been as interesting. | I chose to do my page on Tchaikovsky because music is one of my favorite subjects. I think if i wasnt going to try and be an engineer, I'd major in music. I enjoyed learning about his music theory, and the events in his life leading to his success. |
