Chris and I met in an AOL chat room in January of 2000.  We started "going out" on January 19th.  It wasn't until March 3rd that we actually met, when I took a bus from my home in Oregon to his home in New Jersey.  I hate to sound corny, but it was love at first site.  On March 25th we had to part, but we wanted to make our relationship a little less long distance.  It was four months before we saw each other again, and after his family drove to Oregon and all of us went to California, we decided that we couldn't part again.  I went back to New Jersey with his family on a permanent basis.
Here is our story...
We decided to get a pet rabbit after going to a farm to go apple picking and getting to play with the bunnies there.  A few days later we went to the pet store, just to see what kind of bunnies they had, that's when we got Cody.  After a month of enjoying our little "Cody-buns" we thought he needed a bigger cage, went back to the pet store, and found Lily (and a big cage, too).  Well, being rabbit beginners, we thought it would be best to get a female rabbit for Cody, thinking that he wouldn't be sexually mature for a couple months and we could have him neutered right away...  boy were we wrong!  Once Cody turned six months old he was neutered.  The surgery went great and now Cody and Lily live in the same cage and they really love each other.  We are very lucky to have such great pets and would highly recommend a rabbit to anybody ready to devote a lot of love and attention to a pet.  Rabbits take a lot more work than we first thought, but it's all worth it.
This web page is dedicated to my dog Lily who I had to leave in Oregon...  I still love her and miss her very much, but I know she has a very happy home now and is being well taken care of....
