Loss vs. Tyson Dux in a NON-TITLE match Dux attacked Steele from behind as Cody was coming out from behind the curtain to make his entrance. From there, the 2 entered the ring and exchanged holds. Cody surprisingly got the upperhand in the technical trade-off and eventually Dux was able to hot-shot Cody on the top rope and and go to work on Cody's neck. Cody made some small spurts off comebacks, but the veteran Dux kept going back to the neck and stretching Cody out. In the end, Cody attempted his finisher about 4 times and was unsuccessful as Dux cheated his way out of each attempt. Eventually, Dux caught Cody on a vault and hit his Kryptonite Krunch for the 1,2,3. With a clean victory, look for Cody to give Dux a much deserved rematch sometime in the future. * * * * * * * * * * CIWA: Peterborough, Ontario - Nov 8th 2003 1)Win vs. TJ Harley for the CIWA Hardcore Championship (via a chair shot) 2) Later in the night, Cody came to the ring to celebrate his victory and TJ (dressed as a fan) snuck up on Cody, hit the Fly-by-Nite Neckbreaker and won back his CIWA hardcore title. 3) Later still...... Cody and TJ fought out to the ring from the backstage area and as TJ went for a clothesline, Cody stripped the title from TJ's waist and hit him with the belt and scored the 1,2,3 becoming a 2 TIME CIWA HARDCORE CHAMPION!!! Cody decided to go to the bar and celebrate while the next match was going on. 4) After the match, TJ came flying out from the backstage area and smoked Cody in the head with a tray. TJ fought Cody to the ring and tried to roll him up but only got a 2 count. Cody tried to crawl out of the ring but TJ grabbed his tights exposing his "completely sexy" behind. Cody (completely shocked at this occurrence) wasn't ready for TJ's fly-by-nite neckbreaker and once again was pinned by TJ, thus ending his extensive reign as 2 time CIWA hardcore champion. * * * * * * * * * * Man Show in Toronto Convention Centre: Oct 31st - Nov 1st, 2003 1) Win with James Champagne vs. Sinn and Negro Diablo 2) Win vs. James Champagne 3) Win with Showtime Eric Young and Kris Chambers vs. Flesh, Magnus, and Joe E. Legend 4) Loss with Hayden Avery and Asylum vs. Negro Diablo, Brown Hornet, and Shawn Spears * * * * * * * * * * NSP: Oct 16th A win against Sinn in a Independent Title defence * * * * * * * * * * NSPW: Oct 5th 2003 Win vs. Kris Chambers with Angel (defending the NSP Independent Championship) This was Cody's first title defence, and with a new look, and a new-found confidence since winning the title, Cody started off the match strong. Cody made Angel and Chambers look quite dumb off the start as Angel misfired and accidentally slapped Chambers early on. Cody went for his finish many times off the start but everytime, Chambers was able to weasel his way out of the ring and out of harms way. Eventually, while Cody had Chambers reeling, Angel grabbed Cody's foot on the apron, allowing Chambers to superkick Cody in the back. From there, Chambers went to work on Cody injured back, with alittle help from Angel. Somehow, Cody was able to fight back and after Cody and Chambers exchanged numerous attempts at trying to hit their respective finishers, Cody was able to duck Chambers' superkick and hit "Completely Finished" for the 1,2,3. Also, for some reason Angel actually hit a mark at ringside. This might spell the end to Angel in NSP because such actions won't be tolerated in this business, especially from someone in the NSP locker room. * * * * * * * * * * TTWF: Sept 27th 2003 Win vs. The Hacker Cody came out to many cheers from the Toronto crowd and The Hacker was accepted with equal jeers. The Hacker got the advantage early and took advantage of a missed spear in the corner when Cody hit his shoulder on the ring post. From there, The Hacker worked over Cody's arm, desperately trying to get Cody to quit. Cody wouldn't submit and came back out of nowhere to hit "Completely Finished" for the 1,2,3. * * * * * * * * * * NSPW: Sept 20th 2003 Win vs. JC Owens (for the NSP Independent Championship) Before the match Cody said that Pee Wee was so anxious in signing the match that he forgot to read the fine print in the contract. Cody had secretly put into the contract that Pee Wee was going to spend the night at ringside....... in a dog cage! JC came out and was surprised by Pee Wee's situation, which gave Cody the chance to attack JC and start the brutal brawl. Cody beat up JC all over ringside until JC hellaciously powerbombed Cody on the outside of the ring into the steel ringpost, almost knocking Cody unconscious. From there JC brutally beat Cody all over the Polish Hall. In the end, Cody managed to hit a sunset powerbomb on JC from the top rope. From there Los Jalapeno came to the ring and cut the lock on the dog cage and let Pee Wee out. Cody hit his finish and Pee Wee dropped an elbow on Matt Young to break up the count. Cody went to punch Pee Wee but JC cut Cody off. From there JC powerbombed Cody and pinned him for the 1,2.... NO!!!!! Cody, to Pee Wee and JC's amazement, kicked out of JC's powerbomb. JC went for a 2nd powerbomb, Cody landed on his feet and again hit his finish on JC. Pee Wee started to make a count and then went to drop an elbow on Cody but Cody moved and Pee Wee hit JC! JC got angry with Pee Wee and Cody dropkicked JC in the back sending Pee Wee flying out of the ring. This gave Cody the time to hit his finisher for the 3rd time. Matt Young slid back into the ring and counted the 1,2,3! New NSP Independent Champion... Cody Steele. Then, to Cody's surprise, a bunch of wrestlers came out from the back and hoisted Cody onto there shoulders congradulating Cody on his victory * * * * * * * * * * BCW: Sept 5th 2003 - UofT Loss vs. "Dangerboy" Derek Wylde Cody the super heel faced of against his trainer in the opening match of this fantastic BCW show. Dangerboy got the better of Cody off the start but Cody managed to powerbomb Wylde after a failed frankensteiner attempt. From there Cody went to work on Dangerboy's back. Dangerboy was able to fight back and eventually hit a top rope superplex but was unable to capitalize because of his injured back. Dangerboy was able to muster enough energy and hit the sky drill press on the outside, and then follow it up with a sweet springboard ddt. However, Cody hit his finish out of nowhere but because of his extreme cockiness, took too much time and Wylde kicked out of his pin attempt. From there, Cody's temper got the better of him, and Wylde was able to hit his "inside out bomb" for the 1,2,3. * * * * * * * * * * NSP: "Over the Top III" Aug 16th, 2003 - Niagara Falls i) Loss vs. Kris Chambers with Angel Chambers dodged Cody for the opening minutes of the match, but Cody eventually got his hands on the cocky Chambers and started to pummel him to the outside. Cody hit Chambers with numerous chops on the outside, but at one point, while going for a chop, Cody smashed his hand on the ring post. Cody was in trouble. Chambers took advantage and immediately went to work on Cody's hand. Numerous times, Chambers would distract the ref while Angel went to work on Cody's hand.... and at one point, even biting it! Later in the match, Chambers tied Cody's hand to the tag rope and stretched out his wrist. Then he whipped Cody out of the corner with Cody's hand still tied to the tag rope almost breaking Cody's wrist. But Cody managed to fight back and out of nowhere, blocked a superkick and hit "Completely Finished". Angel then pulled Chambers out of the ring. Robb the Reff had had enough and ordered her to the back. As Cody was concentrating on Angel's protest, Chamber crawled under the ring to the other side. When Cody turned around, he hit a superkick on Cody for the 1,2,3. ii) Win in "Over the Top III" Cody was in at #5 and lasted through 28 other competitors with an injured and wrapped-up wrist. The Battle Royal came down to Cody and Chambers. Chambers tried to run and hide under the ring but Cody pulled him out and threw him back in the ring. Chambers managed to toss Cody over the top but Cody hung on. Chambers kicked Cody's injured hand and when he went to kicked the only hand saving Cody from defeat, he skinned the cat and head scissored Chambers out of the ring. Cody won a shot at JC's Independent Title thus getting one more shot at dethrowning the 400lb. beast. * * * * * * * * * * Camp Shalom: Aug 13th , 2003 Win vs. The Hacker In a rowdy mess hall at the Jewish Camp, "Camp Shalom" the fan favourite Cody Steele took on the hated Hacker. Cody got the advantage early on, but missed a cross body to the floor and injured his left knee. Hacker took the advantage and worked on Cody's leg the whole match. Somehow, Cody battled back and hit "Completely Finished" for the 1,2,3. * * * * * * * * * * NSP: July 26th, 2003 - St Catherine's Loss (vs. Lazz and Kris Chambers) Cody and Lazz were set to have a one-on-one match to settle the score from the previous show, and to fight for the last spot in the Over the Top Battle Royal at the next NSP show. Cody grabbed the mic and talked to the crowd about his history with Lazz. Cody said that he had figured out that Lazz was one of the reasons he had gotten over with the Niagara crowd, and he had figured that Lazz had become one of his closest friends in the business, but he hadn't for the life of him been able to figure out why Lazz had punched him in the mouth at the last NSP show after his match with JC owens. Lazz said that he thought Cody was mad because he couldn't get the job done with JC a few months prior. And Cody replied saying he thought Lazz was just looking for an excuse because HE couldn't get the job done against JC without making excuses. With that, Cody and Lazz were ready to exchange blows when Chambers came out with Angel. Chambers was his usual cocky self and decided he wanted to get into the match. Cody and Lazz could care less, and kept disposing of Chambers just so they could get at eachother. Many innovative 3-way maneuvers occurred in this match. The finish came when Chambers was crotched on the top rope, Lazz ran up the rope for a belly-to-belly, but Cody ran up behind Lazz, giving Lazz a russian leg sweep causing a domino effect. Cody went to give a move on Lazz, but Angel grabbed Cody's leg. Cody then pulled Angel up on the apron by her hair. Cody teased the crowd as if he was going to punch Angel in the mouth, but instead......... laid a "completely" smoking kiss on her. At first Angel tried to fight it, but eventually she succumbed to Cody's awesomeness. After the kiss, Lazz hit his finish on Cody and Chambers furiously threw Chambers into Lazz and Lazz went to hit his finish on Angel, but then realized who he had in his arms and stopped. Angel slapped Lazz in the face and Lazz walked into a Chambers superkick for the, 1,2,3. Now Cody has a settle to score with both Chambers AND Lazz. * * * * * * * * * * NSP: July 19th, 2003 - Niagara Falls Win vs. Jace Fury Cody escorted Robb the Reff out to ringside for the Incredible Hulk Rules Match. After Robb hit a splash on P Wee, Fury broke up the count. Cody had seen enough and immediately speared Fury and the 2 exchanged blows. Cody hit various arial maneuvers on Fury while Matt Young came to the ring and tried to stop Cody from beating Fury to oblivion before the match could officially start. Cody shoved Young out of the way and went for Fury but Fury managed to drop toe hold Cody's face onto the bottom turnbuckle. Matt Young called for the bell and decided to let the match start. Fury immediately went to work on Cody's face, scraping it along the ropes and scraping Cody's eyelids with his boots. Cody managed to mount a comeback a few times, but Fury kept getting the upperhand by continuing to work on Steele's swollen kisser. Eventually, out of nowhere, while Fury was biting Cody's forehead in the corner, Cody hit a devestating running powerbomb. Cody made a hot comeback but was again cut-off by a flatliner, again injuring his face. Cody kicked out of Fury's pin attempt, and a frustrating Fury attempted a brainbuster. Cody slipped out and miraculously hit his "Completely Finished" for the 1,2,3. Later in the night, P Wee ran in on Lazz's match with JC for the Independent Title and hit Lazz with a crutch. Cody came out a step to late and disposed of P Wee for his efforts. However, when Lazz turned around, he saw Cody with the crutch and thought Cody was the one that hit him. Lazz was furious and punched Cody right in the mouth. Cody fell out of the ring, and this gave JC enough time to powerbomb Lazz and get the 1,2,3. Then, in the main event, after Playa turned on Showtime and the fans, many wrestlers from the locker room went out to try and help Showtime. However, when Lazz tried to get in the ring, Cody pulled him off the apron and got revenge by smoking Lazz in the mouth with a punch of his own. The 2 Neo Stars immediately started to exchange blows and fought through the crowd and out of the building. * * * * * * * * * * NSP: July 1st, 2003 - Niagara Falls Loss vs. Lazzerus This match was both longer and more heated than the match 2 days prior at the CHIN picnic. One half of the crowd was clearly on Cody's side, while the other ("Team Lazz") was clearly rooting for Lazzerus. Lazz wore Cody down with suplexes and submission holds to the back, but Cody was able to mount an offense and hit various neckbreakers which slowed Lazz down. Cody hit a "Blockbuster" out of nowhere, but Lazz managed to kick out. In desperation, Cody went to the top and attempted a flying crossbody. Lazz was able to roll through the crossbody and get back to his feet... with Cody in his arms! Lazz violently threw Cody onto his shoulder and hit his "Lazz Effect" for the 1-2-3. * * * * * * * * * * NSP: June 29th, 2003 - Toronto - CHIN Picnic Win vs. Lazzerus In a sea-saw battle (which saw Lazz suplex Cody out of his boots and on one occasion, onto his head) Cody was able to reverse Lazz' finish and catch him in his "Completely Finished" for the win. * * * * * * * * * * NSP: June 21st, 2003 - Niagara Falls Loss vs. Kris Chambers w/ Angel Cody got the upper hand early in the match by frustrating Chambers with a series of headlock takedowns. No matter what Chambers tried to do, Cody outsmarted him with various headlock combinations. The enthusiastic NEO crowd was thoroughly behind Cody and showed their hatred for Chambers with "Chambers Sucks!" chants. Kris finally got the upperhand when Angel interfered in the match by tripping Cody along the ropes allowing Chambers to give Cody a swift superkick to the side of the head. From there Chambers went to work on Cody's head and back. Cody eventually overcame Chambers' and Angel's 2-on-1 tactics and was able to hit his finisher "Completely Finished" out of nowhere. Just when Cody was about to pin Chambers he saw 433lbs of the NEO Champion JC Owens on the rampway. This was enough to distract Steele as he deperately wanted JC in the ring and another chance at the belt. While distracted, Chambers was able to roll Cody up for the 1-2-3 with alittle extra leverage from the ropes. Later in the night, after JC mercilessly powerbombed Johnny Adams through a table on the outside of the ring, P-Wee offered an open challenge to anyone in the back for JC's belt. Cody quickly took Owens up on the offer and bolted to the ring. Cody ran in like a house of fire and out of nowhere hit his "Completely Finished" on Owens. Just as Robb the Reff was going to make the 1-2-3, P-Wee broke up the count and Robb and P-Wee immediately started to exchange blows. With fire in his eyes from again being screwed out of the Independent Championship, Cody grabbed P-Wee and punched his lights out (much to the pleasure of the NEO crowd). He then held P-Wee down so Robb the Reff could execute a sweet Myer's Splash. Cody made the 1-2-3 just for the hell of it. Once P-Wee was able to come back to his senses, he challenged Robb Myers to an "Incredible Hulk Rules" match. What the hell!? JC and P-Wee walked away again with the Indy Title... but rest assure, Cody is "Completely" ready to finally get his revenge. * * * * * * * * * * NSP: May 24th, 2003 - Niagara Falls JC Owens defeats "Completely" Cody Steele via "Fatboy Driver" after Pee Wee breaks up Cody's pin attempt after hitting his "Completely Finished."
