Tenoh, Haruka is Japanese for Distant Sky King/Ruler. Haruka, like Michiru, is a very sophisticated person. She has a varitey of talents such as playing the piano, running track and racing motorbikes or cars. Haruka is first shown at the beginning of Sailor Moon S, when she is 16 years old, but also appears in Sailor Stars, the S and SuperS movie and SuperS special episode 2 dedicated to her and Michiru.

In Sailor Moon S, Haruka & Michiru go to Mugen High. They are both in the first year of senior high (year 10). On the left is the uniform Haruka wears in the summer and on the right is her winter uniform.

Before Haruka was awoken as Sailor Uranus she used to run track alot. However after her awaking she preferred to speed around in her car or motorbike.
Due to her tomboyish attitude and masculine looks, many people have mistaken Haruka for a guy. A very funny example of this would be Usagi & Minako at the beginning of Sailor Moon S.
