Code of Conduct for Players

1. Players should make every effort to develop their own sporting abilities.
2. Players should not use foul or abusive language either on or off the pitch.
3. Players should abide by the law, rules and spirit of the game and adopt a fair and sporting attitude at all times.
4. Players should treat opponents with due respect at all times irrespective of the result of the game.
5. Players should accept the decision of the match official without protest.
6. Players should show due respect towards match officials.
7. Players should abide by the instructions of his coach/manager and show due respect.
8. Players should conduct themselves in a well-behaved and disciplined manner at all times.
9. The club supports the F.A. policy to stamp out racial abuse. Any Codnor Boys/GFC Codnor player guilty of racial abuse will be subject to suspension.
The above requirements are recommended by the F.A. and adopted by Codnor Boys/GFC Codnor F.C. The club also expects players to abide by the following rules:
1. Subscriptions to be paid weekly for matches and training. Subs outstanding for four weeks or more will result in the players suspension until payment is up to date.
2. All kit or equipment issued to a player must be returned in a clean condition at the request of club officials.
3. Players are required to wear their shower jackets for each match or any occasion where they are representing the club.
4. Boots should be kept in a clean condition.
5. Changing facilities, home or away, should be treated with respect and left in a clean condition.
6. Players are asked to arrive for matches at the time stated by their manager. Lateness may result in you not starting the match.
7. Players should notify their manager as soon as possible if they are not available for a match.
8. All players must have a Club Medical form completed by a parent/guardian to be retained by the team manager.
9. Players and their parents are expected to participate and contribute to the clubs social and fund raising activities wherever possible.
