| Strange season with long good runs and long bad runs. This seasonm the team was in wake up year after a good 1998/1999 campaign but losing key players such as Lee Nogan,Aidan Davison and Tommy Widdrington started to show near the end of the season. The also missed Jack Lester who joined Nottingham Forest midway through the season. Charlton,Man City and Ipswich were promoted to the Premiership and Walsall,Port Vale and Swindon were relegated to Division 2. |
