| Before you decide if you want this game, ask yourself what kind of gamer are you? Are you a gamer who likes 1st person shooter games and blood and gor? Then you probably wouldn't like Starcraft because it is a strategy and combat game. Starcraft is a strategy game and yes you do have to think a little in this game. In Starcraft you can either do missions or you can do a custom battle; who you want to verse in the battle and what battlefield to play on. You get to choose from 3 different species the Terran-Human, Protoss-Alien,Zerg-Cockroach Aliens. I prefer the Terran because you can launch a nuclear missle with them. The protoss is probably the most powerful species but it is the most costly species. I think the Zerg just plain sucks. Now the plusses and minuses of this game, a good part about this game is the terrain you play on it is very well drawn out. A minus is there is only about 12 different missions per species, I don't think that is enough. My rating for this game is a 3 out of 5 because this game can get boring after a while, which all games do but once you beat all the missions there is really nothing else to do. |
