First off, as I have already mentioned, it is the fourth expansion pack for The Sims, and I think the name kind of speaks for it's self, obviously you go on vacations in this expansion pack, and I guess that's exactly where I'll make my second point about the game. Think about your sims just going in to work every day, maybe throwing a party every now and then, or going on a date downtown, but it's just not quite enough, because your sim needs something more exciting! Well if you buy this expansion pack, then your sims can do something more exciting! Just pick up that phone and call the vacation cab and you'll be off to an amazing multi-seasoned resort miles away from SimCity or SimSuburbs, and having the time of your life! Let's start off in the snow-zone, sure it's cold and annoying to be walking through all that snow, NOT!! You are on vacation, go wild!! Start by hitting the halfpipes on your snowboard and getting some lip tricks in or catching some massive air!! Then, get on over to the snow slide where you'll go flyin' down those hills on your back!! Then you can have snowball fights, make snowmen, or even break other peoples' snowmen!! Well, all that is fun, but now let's calm down a little bit because you're probably tired by now, so let's check in to the hotel room, and yes I am serious, there is a hotel room you have to pay per night with, you can't just walk in and sleep, but even so, it's only 40 simoleans per night, which is nothing compared to the price of the vacation, which I should've mentioned is 500 simoleans. So anyways, back to the sleep, just check in and then get out and have fun again. Now once you wake up you probably need your basic requirements met -eg.- Teeth Brushed, Shower, Toilet, Food, Wash Face And Hands, and of course, after all that FUN, get out and GO WILD!! So, the hotel rooms will provide these hygeine services with your 40$ paying for the room and the bathroom, so you're all set there, sorry but the all-you-can-eat buffet is 5-10$ a plate! Well, I've had enough of Winter and maybe you have too, so let's go back to summer time again where everything is warm and fun! So with all these magnificent charecteristics of summer I guess that means it's time for some fun is the sun eh?!?!(Sounds pretty gay, sorry) So wether it's fishing you're up to or grilling a nice juicy burger over a charcoal barbecue, givin' you that nice earthy taste,(I'll stick to propane I tell ya what!Lol, King Of The Hill-Global's Got It!!) or even just playing volleyball with some of your friends, you can have fun, right?!?! Then of course the rooms are the same except for the fact that the beach ones provide televisions for all!! Then of course there is swimming, metal detecting, it's in the winter too actually, and of course play cheap little carnival games which are also in the winter time, damn, I missed out on a lot of stuff for the winter time didn't I?? Hmmm, oh well, whatever, anyways there is also arcades for your kids, or, even you to use and have fun with on these vacations. Then just go the bar and have a drink or a few to finsish off the day!!
There is so much more you could see and do but I will leave it up to you to find out for yourself if you ever buy The Sims Vacation. For my final points I will mention the cost, it is 24.99$ U.S. and 49.99$ Canadian, unless you find a better deal as it becomes an older product in the market.
