| The Sims:House Party |
| Ahhh, so you want to know about House Party do you, well, then you have come to the right place, to start off, I guess I should tell you about some of the new themes and objects. First, the themes. House Party includes 3 new themes, just like Livin' Large has. These 3 new themes are the following: 1.You tired of a house in your neighbourhood being a boring old house, castles to big?? Love to tacky?? Or was that damn future house was to expensive?? Well, if you want something new, then here's something affordable and fun, a Tiki Luau on the beach!!(sand not included, just make the grass less green, or download sand at www.simsplus.com)Which will include camping out with a fire,(no tent)or having that nice bamboo fence, along with a nice carpet and decor liling. 2.This is a sure party winner, if you are rich, cuz it's expensive, but fun,(usually I just cheat with the money cheats to buy a house with this theme) so wether you want to get in the cage and dance. Or get down on the dance floor, then have something from the buffet table, and maybe a nice glass of party punch from the fountain, your party will be a hit, also remember that this will include men and women's bathroom doors, careful the men don't walk in to the wrong one, and the women don't either, cuz then they can't get out. and finally 3.Well, it's a little old fashioned, what am I saying, of course it's old, it's the Wild West!! This has all your favourite items from the old west, a mechanical bull, a saloon door, the counters, the setting, the barrels and wooden log fences outside, along with the boardwalk, even an old time drink dispenser!!(Livin' Large will have the tiki bar by the way)So if your guest are fans of Westerns, then they will love your new party theme!! By the way, there is a 4th theme, but it is more of a mini theme, because it is not very big, it's a formal theme, it has stuff like cherades, and actually, the punch fountain and food table are more in that theme too. But that's is why it's not that big, to get the floors and walls for it, you need to mix more stuff you get from Livin' Large and The Sims original. Oh yeah and, the themes all come with matching floors and walls by the way. Anyways, now you know the different themes, now for the objects. Some of the more interesting objects are the mechanical bull, if you can stay on long enough, it can give your sim more body points, and the costume trunk, so now your sims can wear rave clothes, to costumes, beachwear, to disco, and so on. Then, there is also the dance cage, so your sims can get in and show off there moves, or buy a dance floor and let em' dance disco, or have a barndance while listening to country music. Whatever kind of dance they will do depends on what music is playing, usually your best bet for different dancing though is by placing a DJ table and speakers beside the dance floor and cages. Just so you know, the DJ table is also a new object to the game, however, there are more than 125 new objects in this specific expansion pack. Well, now that you basically know what House Party adds, I will tell you what it needs, to start, it is rated T for teen, just like all of The Sims products. It requires basically the same things The Sims original requires, but, if you only have 64 megs of ram, I reccomend 124. 64 is sometimes too slow, it will run, but it might not be too fast, like really slow. Then, it costs the same as Livin' Large, 29 dollars U.S., 45 dollars Canadian, and to finish, it will take up about 500 megabytes of space on your computer. So if you meet all the requirements, I think that this is a definite buy, it is very fun, and I think you should buy it. That's all I have to say about The Sims:House Party. |
