While playing the game, you can find many coins called Stellazio. These coins have inscriptions on them, and Queen Stella in Treno gives you a reward for each one you hand her. There are 13 Stellazio throughout all of FFIX. This side-quest can be very usefull as to the fact that each reward becomes better than the last.
Here are the locations:
Aries - Dali, in the windmill all the way in the back
Taurus - Treno, behind item shop, next to the inn
Gemini - Fountain near the left from the entrance of Treno. Throw in 13 coins and you will get it.
Cancer - Burmecia, behind the cart
Leo - Next to the Neptune statue at Alexandria Harbor, in the left tower
Virgo - Black Mage Village inn
Libra - Next to Maiden Sari fountain
Scorpio - Quan's Cave, next to the chest
Sagittarius - Lindblum, left side of Business District near the pickle shop
Capricorn - Daguerreo, right from the entrance, next to the library
Aquarius - In Ipsen's Castle, right from entrance
Pisces - In the chest in the Invincible
Ophiuchus - Where the Scorpio was, after giving Queen Stella the other 12 Stellazios |

It doesn't matter which Stellazio you give Queen Stella first.
If you get the Hammer, you can have Hades (disc 4) synthesize items for you after you beat him, and the ending has an extra scene. |
