Cheats And Secrets
Alternate Ending--
You have to finish the Stellazzio sidequest and keep Cinna's Hammer. Don't lose, use, or sell/combine the hammer. It has to be present in your inventory til the very end of the game.

Black Jack Mini-Game--
To play the Black Jack mini-game, do the following code at the end screen after the credit roll: R2, L1, R2, R2, Up, X, Right, Circle, Down, Triangle, L2, R1, R2, L1, Square, and Square

Coffee Quest--
Give Morrid (at the Watchtower in Dali) the three coffee beans he wants and he will send you the Prima Vista figurine (once you receive it, the ship should be at the Tantalus hideout in Lindblum). Here is where you find the beans: Go to the gate closest to the Chocobo Forest. The Moccha coffee beans are to the very right, on the root. The Kirman coffee beans are in the Madain Sari kitchen, behind the table. Disc 3, before going to the card stadium in Treno, head to Dali and check the Chief's house. Check the desk 4 times and you'll find a key. For a bonus, check the entire place at least once and you'll find a Brahne Doll. After you get all the goodies, go to the windmill and open the door on the right. Enter and check the treasure chest twice. For another bonus, climb up the windmill's ladder and get more treasure.

Frog Catching Rewards--
The frog catching minigame may seem like a stupid waste of time -- but it can actually be a source of some good items and new weapons for Quina, plus the number of frogs Quina eats will power up the "Frog Drop" spell. Here are the rewards:
 2 frogs: Ore Stone
 5 frogs: Ether
 9 frogs: Silk Robe
 15 frogs: Elixir
 23 frogs: Silver Fork
 33 frogs: Bistro Fork
99 frogs: Quina's Master appears and fights you; just use standard attack/heal techniques and be around level 40. You'll get the Gourmet Fork for winning. The Frog Drop damage formula is this: Quina's level x the # of frogs caught. So if Quina's level is 50 and she caught 100 frogs, s/he can do 5000 HP damage.

Get Excalibur I and II--
To get Excalibur:Buy the "Magic Finger" item at the Treno Auction early on. If you can't seem to buy the Magic Finger, sell all of the RARE items that you bought first and try again. Sell most of the rare items to the fat dude and red mage outside the Bishop's home. Sell Une's Mirror to the Friar inside the Bishop's home. Don't worry, you can get them back. Oh yeah, decline selling the items to the fat guy and mage ONCE and then accept their offer. This won't work with the friar though. Once you reach Daguerreo, give the Magic Finger to the elderly man on the top floor, next to the hammocks. He will then tell his life story and give you Excalibur in return.
To get Excalibur II: This one is way more difficult. You have to get all the way to the small room in less than 12 hours. You should check the right side of the small room BEFORE you fight Lich. Some tips to get there in 12 hours: Open and close the lid during ALL FMVs, save frequently, forget the sidequests, and take breaks after saving. I'll have a complete guide soon!

Friendly Creature Locations--
In certain spots of the world map you'll stumble across a couple of friendly monsters. They are land spirits and each of them will make a request from you. Fulfilling their request enables you to be able to use the "Attack" command when you are fighting Ozma, who's unlocked in the Chocobo Garden by inspecting a large rock on the upper left hand corner. You'll get Garnet's strongest Summon, Ark, from defeating Ozma but it is a very hard battle, so be sure you find all the land spirits:
 Mu: Around Dali. Ore stone.
Ghost: In front of Treno (but not too far) or around the South Gate. Ore stone.
Ladybug: Around the Black Mage Village. Two Ore stones.
Yeti: Forest outside Madain Sari. Two Ore Stones.
Nymph: Forest near Iifa. Three Ore Stones.
Jabberwock: Forest East of Oeilivert. Emerald.
Feather Circle: Ice Continent, on the Chocobo tracks. Moonstone.
Garuda: Forest outside Gizamaluke Cave after climbing rope. Lapis Lazly.
Yan: Vile Island (Big island off the western coast of Outer Continent). It will keep running away until you have found all eight other Land Spirits. Diamond.

New Carbunkle/Fenrir Skills--
Did you know about these Carbuncle/Fenrir skills? Give them a try:
Diamond + Carbuncle = Diamond Light
 Maiden's Prayer + Fenrir = Millenial Decay
Moonstone + Carbuncle = Pearl Light
Emerald + Carbuncle = Emerald Light

Quiz Master--
Look for a weirdly dressed character inside any forest. You can recognize him by the circle and an X floating around him. This is the Quiz Master. Confront him and h will ask you a series of 13 questions. For each correct answer you will receive a ton of AP. Try to answer ALL 13 -- and you'll get a Rossetta Ring.

Ultima Weapon--To get the Ultima Weapon, go back to the Shimmering Island on your Dark Blue or Gold Chocobo, and you should have at least one Dead Pepper. Search for the EXACT center(use the map to help you. When you open up your map, the pointer should automatically point to the Shimmering Island). Use the dead pepper and you'll receive a lot of stuff, including the Ultima Weapon, the Maximillian armor and the Mega-Rare Invincible card.
