Manga Version
Everything was so unexplained. I feel that the manga version of the Silver Millenium was more inspired! Well I'll get on now. Naoko set this into your mind, the silver millenium, was a peaceful, happy time, with parties, and of course a well loved Queen and her daughter. She also told us there was a love that was unrequited, and forbidden, between the Moon Princess, and the Prince of Earth.
Of course, Usagi, curious as she was went to explore the Earth every now and then, and there she met Endymion. It was a romance so planned, that the two fell in love instantly. The passion was growing. Usagi would go and see her love, and eventually was caught a few times by the other senshi, and a very young maiden by the name of Beryl.
Beryl had a burning love for Endymion, and watched a Moon Princess take him away. She could not bear it. Seeing her secret love going away with a young, fresh, lively Princess, made her heart churn, and ache. Her hurt soon turned to hate. Every time she saw the two together flame posessed her. And thats where she started to turn to the evil side.
Meanwhile, the sun was acting odd, and there is where Metallia was born. Metallia needed someone to seek out her doings, and there she found Beryl. Crushed, alone, angry, and hatred, perfect. Although it was never told, Metallia probably promised Beryl Endymion, if she would help her. Filled with hate for Princess Serenity, she accepted the offer. Beryl soon filled the planet earth with hatred.
As this was happening, everyone overlooked that there was a small romance between the Senshi, and Endymion's four generals. Nephrite, Kunzite, Jedite, and Zoisyte. It was only foreshadowed with the others, but you could see a passion between Minako, and Kunzite, the two were quite partial to one another.
The evil from Earth gushed into the Moon. Endymion tried to stop this, for having Earth against the Moon would make his love for Usagi unrequited very much so. In the war Minako a.k.a Sailor Venus killed Beryl. You watch the other senshi fall. Endymion died trying to protect his love, and Usagi pierced herself with the sword of the silver crystal. Endymion's generals were killed. Queen Serenity could no longer stand the fighting, using her last amount of energy, she used the silver crystal to encase the evil, and have everyone reborn on Earth, with no sign of their past.
Later on, when the senshi are reborn, the 4 generals were used for evil, by Beryl to be precise. Sailor Venus was the first to be reborn, and about one year later, give or take a couple of months, the other sailor soldiers started to appear. Including the Heroine, Sailor Moon.
