On May 2nd we met with Carl Mays, Moose Riders State President, and presented the check for $500 for the laptop. We took some great pictures and some of them will be in the quarterly Moose Riders magazine, Pipes, in July. Carl spoke to Jim about Lodge 1717 being the host for the State Meeting, date to be determined. Carl rode up to Corky Bell's with a bunch of us and had some lunch before his ride back. It was a very nice visit!
After hosting the breakfast for Falcon's River Roost and several of us did the poker run. After returning to River Roost the Moose Riders donated $50.00 to the Chuck McMullen Fund which promotes safe motorcycle riding.
On June 3rd at 6 p.m. we will be putting on a spaghetti dinner to benefit a young couple which is struggling due to him, Kevin, having cancer. Please come out and help us give them a helping hand. Dinner is $7.00 a plate. For more information please talk to Gary or Debbie.
Our "Rev It Up" raffle is moving right along with more things having been added. If you have not seen it, please look at all the goodies in the display case. We still need to sell more of those $1.00 tickets before the drawing on July 4th.
