Congratulations to the LOOM and WOTM board for the 2009-2010. Only one month into the year and some positive changes are being felt in and around the lodge. Way to go guys and gals. On to some Moose Legion news. The Moose Legion has 3 ongoing monthly activities Friday night bingo, every Saturday night steak shoot and once monthly dinners. With that in mind I would like to say on Bingo, I know the participation is down, however we would like to see this activity continue . We need callers to volunteer to call once a month see me or Mike Martin If you can help out. We are changing the start time to 6 p.m. and in June we will start "bucket Bingo", don't know what that is????Come out Friday at 6 and get your chance to win. The 2nd Friday of the month is Moose Legion dinner night. If you can help out by cooking or just lending a hand to the kitchen crew please see me or Mike Martin, we are always on the look out for some fresh faces in the kitchen and I know your governor would like a break. And steak shoot one of the "fun-est" games around if you haven't playing you're missing out every Saturday night at 5:30 come out and have a chance to win meat, money and a mystery too. The Moose Legion is sponsoring the "Picnic Party Pac" raffle on display in the social quarters. All the profits from the raffle will stay in the our Lodge to help out. Winner will be drawn on June 13th at the LOOM birthday party so get your ticket for a chance at this fun summer prize. Thanks for all your help and support, I am looking forward to a winning year here at 1717 and looking forward to seeing you all June 5, 6, and 7th at the celebration at county line lodge.
